Dingle Women’s Mini Marathon: Calling Mná na hÉireann!
The countdown has begun to the Dingle Women’s Mini Marathon (DWMM) which will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2014.
This year’s event is expected to build on the success of last year’s inaugural DWMM, which raised in excess of €11,000 with proceeds divided equally between the National Breast Cancer Research Institute and the fund for the development of a sports pitch with running track at Pobalscoil Chorca Dhuibhne.
The event is once again being held on a ‘not for profit’. Our partner Charities this year are “The National Breast Cancer Research Institute” and “The Saoirse Foundation –Liam’s Lodge” – a respite centre being developed by Tony and Mary Heffernan who have lost both of their children, Saoirse and Liam, to Battens Disease.
Come and join us on May 17th and help raise funds for these worthwhile charities, while enjoying the delights of Dingle.
